2004/2005 Festival black ice Synchronized Skating

The 2004/2005 Unionville Skating Club's black ice festival Juvenile team was made up of 16 enthusiastic skaters. The team was a very young one with many brand new synchro skaters. Skating their program "Mime", with music from the Cirque du Soleil, the team had a great year.

Although the team got a late start, they steadily improved and at the Cupid's Capers competition in Brampton, their 3rd of the season, the team finished just outside the medals with a 4th place against 13 teams.

At the Central Regionals, the team was badly shaken by fall that caused an injury to one of our skaters but bounced back in the second skate and (somewhat carefully and slowly) completed the competition. Thank you to all the teams and families that offered support and kind words.
